A voyage through Art and History, following in Dante's footsteps after 7 centuries!

Coop Mec is a "slow" tourism operator in line with "responsible tourism", specialised in incoming cultural tourism. It is based in Ravenna and has an agreement with the "Dante Alighieri Society – The Literary Parks". It takes advantage of a network of professional tourism and hospitality collaborators, bloggers, IT technicians and those who are simply passionate about the Italian culture of yesterday and today.

We want to guide you as guests among our people, in the lands between Florence and Ravenna, through other "Dante-esque" places, discovering traditions, usages, customs, towns, forests, countryside and hills. Dante Alighieri was born, lived and died in exile here, telling of places, stories and characters who have become immortal.

Follow our itineraries, take up our suggestions and enter into the new "Literary Park – Dante's Lands": you will find events, suggestions and unusual experiences and, if you wish, help us improve and develop our innovative new project with suggestions, ideas, advice and observations that we will consider useful and valuable.
